The main character in the game is pretty cold. Diabolik  is an anti-hero, a skilled thief and a master of disguise who loves luxury, expensive cars and hi-tech gadgets. He can be merciless and he has no concern for anyone but himself and his one true love, Eva.

Eva, the only woman who can keep up with him, likes being involved in mysterious and complicated stories. Diabolik and Eva make up a great if unconventional couple. They’re both lovers and partners in crime.

It looks like this game is going to excite a lot of people. If you like comic books or just video games that are a little different (in a good way) this may be right up your alley. It looks like it’s going to be well suited to the Wii and Playstation controllers … as you know, sometimes games don’t make the translation from PC very well.

Newspapers are getting into gaming as well. The San Francisco Chronicle has The best video games of 2008. Some of the names on the list you’d expect, but there may be some surprises for you here.

The Salt Lake Tribune also gives their look at 2008 best in video games: LittleBigPlanet. Again, this list is similar to most others, but may hold a surprise or two for you.

NOLA.com (also run by a newspaper) has High praise: 2008 was the best year for video games, ever. It’s another top 10 list, but it has some interesting info on video games in 2008.

On the other side of the pond, the Globe and Mail has The year in gaming. It’s set-up to easily let you get to a wealth of information on whatever console you’re interested in.

Again, this is just a small look at some of the top 10 video game lists out there that aren’t from a strictly game website. Not that there’s anything wrong with those top ten video game lists, but sometimes it’s interesting to see other opinions from other sources.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution broke down their top picks for all three major consoles, including the XBox 360, Sony PS3 and the Nintendo Wii. For the first two, their pick was Grand Theft Auto IV. For the Nintendo Wii they chose Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Parents.com has a list of their top 10 picks for 2008. These are more geared toward the younger gamer, but it’s an interesting list. Number one on their list was de Blob for the Nintendo Wii.

The Earth Times has a similar list of top video games for children. We Ski for the Nintendo Wii is on top of their list.

1UP, a popular video game site, has a list as well. They split theirs into games for the Nintendo Wii, PS3, 360, and Multiplatform Games.

If you’re interested in learning more about the top video games of 2008, Spike.com has information about the 2008 Video Game Awards which will air live on Sunday, December 14th at 9 p.m. The gala will witness the premiere of several eagerly anticipated games as well.

Although it’s a little late (Black Friday having passed), joystiq had an interesting guide to video game shopping on Black Friday 2008. As I said, it’s after the biggest shopping day of the year now, but it’s still an interesting read to see what was top on their list.

The audio was perfectly crafted, as it benefits from the COD4 technology. In this game you will reminisce some familiar tunes of Bond in the past and present. This audio music will definitely provide a great combination with the chatters, gunfire and chaotic enemies in this video game.

There is no other way for you to enjoy the Bond experience but to grab one copy of the video game in the market right now. Although not all platforms has been released yet, Quantum of Solace’s PlayStation 2 (PS2), WII, Nintendo DS (NDS), and PSP versions will be made available later this year.
