The Bakery Mission 

Just as the meeting of Mafia is starting to calm down on a night before the revolution of 1958 in Havana, Cuba violence and chaos interrupts. And now you are responsible to guide members of the Corleone family to escapade and safety.  Unfortunately, the sudden death of Aldo Trapani (star of first game) led to the promotion of Michael Corleone to Aldo’s former position. He is now left with a role that requires him to form semi-independent groups of Mafia.

In New Your, you now begin doing it by recruiting members into the ranks and assess them on what unique skill you want to take account.  It may be someone skilled with arson or a medic perhaps. Each of them has bio to keeping you a balanced crew of the game. As their first mission at the suggestion of Pentangeli (friend of the family) they set their sights on local prostitution house disguised as bakery.  The goal is to collect their first money-laundering act that is essential to expand your influenced and manpower.

But before they are able to do that they need to do some hand-to-hand combat with two security guards which is fun as it allows you to throw punches, grab enemies, head butt as well as other intimidating moves such as slapping, kicking, and dumping. This usually led to start giving you information.  As such, it led to gaining access without totally killing them – it is just the Mafia inspired way!  And finally, we went to back office and found the owner.  Again, a hand-to-hand combat occurs where you can popped him in face, throw him on the desk, head butt and many more violent actions led to him turning over the bakery to the Mafia.

Overall, the intriguing plot and melee fights of Godfather II make it a real cinematic experience.  And we could not wait how all of these will come together on its release on February 2009.

What you would love about the game is not just Spidey’s web slinging abilities but the fighting style as well as it would allow you to take control of the game’s outcome. As Spider-Man moves with utmost flexibility, what has been added in the graphics is the fluidity in motion allowing perfect movement of each of the game character combining combat from motion resulting in a very brilliant game.

Let us take a peak on the four (4) main characters of the Web of Shadows:

Red Spider-Man

The guy is Peter Parker who gained his superpower ability when he was bitten by a spider. At the early stage of him having superpowers, he used it as a means to earn money, playing wrestling. One day, with his powers, he ignored a crime and only to find out that the criminals had killed his uncle. This incident changed Parker and from then on he never let innocent’ suffer again.

Black Spider-Man

The black Spider-Man was a result of Parker being attacked by Venom. He became even more stronger but costing a lot of damage to the community. And now, we know that he could battle it with his own symbiote suit.

Luke Cage

Luke was imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit at a young age. As his family abandoned him, he joined a secret military project. Moreover he accepted an experimental project in the military to be immune of all illnesses. But due to some personal interest with the group, it went wrong and resulted in a power no one has seen before. Good thing, he used his power for good working as private investigator.

Vulture

The guy is Adrian Toomes who was abandoned by his business partner and left him with nothing but a flying harness. He then used this flying harness to fight and kill everyone without any mercy.

What makes this game even more compelling is the ability to team up with other Marvel characters such as Wolverine, Moonknight and many more. It is available in PC, PS2, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo WII, and Nintendo DS.
