More 2008 Top Video Game Lists

Yes, it’s that time of year again – the end of the year when all (or most) stop to reflect on the previous 12 months. We had a post earlier about the Top Video Games of 2008, but that wasn’t enough. Here are some more looks at the best from the world of video games in 2008.

Stephen Totilo at MTV.com has My 10 Favorite Gaming Moments Of 2008. With lots of juicy art and screencaps, this look at 10 great 2008 video game moments is one to read.

Newspapers are getting into gaming as well. The San Francisco Chronicle has The best video games of 2008. Some of the names on the list you’d expect, but there may be some surprises for you here.

The Salt Lake Tribune also gives their look at 2008 best in video games: LittleBigPlanet. Again, this list is similar to most others, but may hold a surprise or two for you.

NOLA.com (also run by a newspaper) has High praise: 2008 was the best year for video games, ever. It’s another top 10 list, but it has some interesting info on video games in 2008.

On the other side of the pond, the Globe and Mail has The year in gaming. It’s set-up to easily let you get to a wealth of information on whatever console you’re interested in.

Again, this is just a small look at some of the top 10 video game lists out there that aren’t from a strictly game website. Not that there’s anything wrong with those top ten video game lists, but sometimes it’s interesting to see other opinions from other sources.
