Capcom has definitely not broken the chain of motorcycle racing offered by different franchises being true and realistic in the motorcycle racing circuit with MotoGP 08. The games mechanics are realistic enough and holds approximately 90% similarity with the mechanics of a real race contest. In this game, the features that were added where mostly giving way to new and inexperienced gamers so as to increase amount of the game’s adorer.

To add up to the list of features, several tracks were added such as that of Indianapolis and a new one in Qatar. The Qatar circuit, which is the latest addition, offers a night racing contest making it a clinging factor for newbies due to its cool and ravishing lighting effects. Much more, to play a race that suites your level the developers added three modes of difficulty – Arcade, Advance, and Simulation, making you not worry whether you’re an amateur or a professional racer.
Gameplay – 8.5
The game play looks good, as it is able to handle players of different levels. If you are a beginner, then the Arcade mode might be for you. And if you are elusive, then the next two levels might be perfect for you!
Concept and Graphics – 8.5
Not so appealing, lacks design efforts. But the functionalities of making it user intuitive most especially for new comers were done quite well. The graphics are pretty much plain, the tracks and racers look decent while the lighting effect is cool!
Sound – 7.0
Aside from the whining and zooming of the engine and a little sound effect when on the menu function, there is not much really sound. It could have been better if they add some sort of audience clapping and cheering.

Overall Rating – 8.0
The MotoGP 08 offers a solid racing game experience be it to the newcomers or experienced racers. When playing definitely newbies will feel welcome playing this game.
If you choose racing to be your career then this game is probably for you as the central mode of it is being able to race with three different classes at 125cc, 250cc and lastly the MotoGP 08, which allows you to race with the best racers in the world. And guess what? As soon as you go up to the ladder, you will be able to sign sponsorship deals and contracts with different teams and earn upgrade points to move you further maximizing your tools to win in the race.
